By Air

The city of Kelowna is where you'd be flying into from Vancouver/Calgary/Victoria/ Seattle/Edmonton. There are several small carriers that service the Kelowna Airport. Ask your travel agent for more information. There's a limo service that will take you north to Vernon. I will arrange to meet you at the Vernon Lodge, so ask to be dropped off there.

Vernon:   Regional Airport (Private & corporate aircraft Planes). Taxi service from the Vernon airport. Offering charter, fixed-wing and helicopter services. 1/2 hour drive from Kelowna International Airport to Vernon.
"Northern Hawk" flies small turbo-prop Beech King Air 100 from Vancouver to Vernon and back up to six times a week.

By Car

Vernon: From Calgary: Follow the Trans-Canada Highway (Route 1) (556km - 6hrs by car), through Sicamous and on to Vernon via Highway 97 South.

From the West Coast: Take Highway 1 to Hope, follow the Coquihalla (Route 5) to Merritt, then 97c (the Coquihalla Connector - to Kelowna, and Highway 97 North to Vernon.

From the United States: Highway 97 through Oroville, Washington. From the Kootenays: Follow Highway 6 via Nakusp - be sure to check out the hot springs while you're there.

From Boundary country, take Highway 33 north from Rock Creek to Kelowna and then North on Highway 97.

By Bus

Greyhound bus lines stop in downtown Vernon.
